I have always had a passion for animals and as a kid I would ride my bicycle to the local animal shelter to volunteer. I have a love for animals of all shapes and sizes and would show in hunter jumper events with my family’s horse. My life would not be complete if animals were not a part of it. I currently have an American Eskimo that I do agility with, a rescue Pomeranian mix that is an amputee, and a cat Mr. Wrigley Field which makes it obvious to say that I am a cubs fan. My goal is to become a Veterinarian and I am determined to do whatever it takes to pursue the path and to help animals. I am a big Star Wars nerd. I am also a big Walking Dead fan and love driving my Jeep Wrangler around. "All life is precious" including the lives of animals. My passion has always been in my mind, heart and soul and nothing will ever change that.
Hey Y’all. My name is Laura and I’m from North Carolina. I attended Lees-McRae College and received a Bachelor's Degree of Science with a concentration in Wildlife Rehabilitation. I have been doing wildlife rehabilitation for 5 years and then I started working with domestic animals. I have been a Veterinarian Technician for 4 years. My future plans are to extend and widen my education and animal knowledge. I also plan on starting a wildlife rehabilitation center of my own in the future. I have three awesome pets; Toby my black and tan Dachshund, Molly my black and white Cocker Spaniel, and Duke my domestic shorthair brown tabby cat. I also have a 55 gallon fish tank full of a diverse group of fish. My hobbies include kayaking with my dogs, being outdoors, fishing, Frisbee golfing, bowling, photography, working on my money collection, and anything animal related.

Hi there! My name is Deanna and I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up in a rural area where I was exposed to all types of animals. Along with having cats and dogs, I also raised chicken and pigs, and showed them at fairs across the state. Currently, I have a Terrier mix named Dooney, a Labrador/Pitbull mix named Nala, a wire-haired Dachshund named Stewart, a Boxer named Hank, and 3 cats. Maverick is a gray short-hair, and Charlie and Jester who are both seal-point Siamese. I am currently attending Illinois State University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Education and I will graduate in the spring of 2017. In my spare time I love being outside with my dogs, off-roading with my boyfriend, and going on adventures with my friends.
